Ingredients:



  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions:



  1. Heat your Coals: Let your campfire or grill burn down until the flames die down, but the coals are still glowing hot.

Ingredients (Serves 2-4):



  • 4 medium potatoes, diced

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • ½ bell pepper, diced (choose your favorite color!)

  • 1 cup cooked breakfast sausage or bacon, crumbled

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, pepper jack, or your favorite)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

Once April Showers have cleared away, it’s time to enjoy the warm weather of May. These Grilled Honey Lime Chicken Skewers taste like the coming summer. Packed with sweet and tangy flavors, they’re a delicious way to kick off camping season.

Ingredients (Serves 4):



  • 2 lbs chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice

  • 1 tsp lime zest

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp chili powder (optional for a little kick!)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped

  • 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped

  • 1 zucchini, sliced

Wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions:



  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Add the cubed chicken and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for extra flavor!).

Camping is fun for the whole family, but it can be hard to find time to squeeze in a family camping trip during the year. So, to celebrate the end of the school year, let’s make something the kids will love– a campfire pizza! 

Ingredients:



  • Pie dough (premade)


  • Pizza sauce of your choice


  • Cheese of your choice


  • Toppings of your choice (meats should be precooked!)


Instructions:


  1. Prepare the Pan: Oil a flat-bottomed cast-iron skillet or pan. 
  2. Prepare the crust: Spread your pizza dough on the bottom of the pan. Place the pan on the fire and cook until the bottom has browned.
  3. Flip the crust: Remove the pan from the fire and flip the crust in the pan so the browned side is facing up.
  4. Build your pizza: Spread your pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings on the pizza crust.
  5. Bake Your Pizza: Bake your pizza until the bottom is browned.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Remove pizza from the fire and let it cool slightly before serving.


Pro Tip: Use a Dutch oven and roll the dough up the sides slightly if you like a deeper crust!

July: Red, White & Blueberry Campfire Cobbler


Nothing says July like warm summer nights, campfires, and a little red, white, and blue! Embrace summer with this easy & delicious Campfire Cobbler, featuring fresh berries and a golden, buttery topping– perfect for sharing with those you love. 

Ingredients (Serves 6-8):


  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced

  • 1 cup blueberries

  • 1 cup raspberries

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 box yellow cake mix

  • 1 stick (½ cup) butter, melted

  • 1 can lemon-lime soda (about 12 oz)

Instructions:



  1. Prepare the Berries: In a cast-iron skillet or foil-lined Dutch oven, mix strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon.

  2. Add the Topping: Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit. Do not stir!

Ingredients (Serves 4-6):



  • 6 ears of fresh corn, husked

  • ¼ cup butter, melted

  • ¼ cup ranch dressing

  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro or parsley (optional)

Instructions:



  1. Prepare the Corn: Husk the corn and remove the silk.

  2. Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, ranch dressing, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Imagine enjoying a cool September evening than with a gooey apple crisp made right over the campfire?  Sweet, spicy, and oh so warm, this easy recipe is perfect for your next autumn camping trip!

Ingredients:



  • 2 apples (any variety), peeled and sliced

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)

  • ¼ cup rolled oats

  • ¼ cup flour

  • 2 tbsp butter, softened

  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Pinch of salt

Instructions:



  1. Prep the Apples: Toss apple slices in a bowl with 1 tbsp of brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.

  2. Make the Crisp Topping: In a separate bowl, mix oats, flour, the remaining brown sugar, butter, and a pinch of salt until crumbly. Stir in nuts for an extra crunch!
